Drink & Draw, Thursday, March 3rd

Next Sketchmeet is on THURSDAY, March 3rd, 8pm at the Franciscan Well! We're still inside the pub but I'm already so much looking forward to the open beer garden season :)

Also, don't forget the Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School event in the Crane Lane Theatre in Cork which is on April 2nd. Have a look at their website for more infos - this is definitely something you shouldn't miss: Dr. Sketchy's Dublin Does Cork

Drink & Draw, Thursday, February 3rd

I hope everybody had a great night at the last Drink & Draw! So many new faces showed up, too, I'm having problems keeping all the names in my mind ;) Our Sketchmeet has become such a lovely bunch of artists, I'm happy and proud to be part of it!

So, let's look forward to the next Drink & Draw: THURSDAY, February 3rd it is, starting at 8pm at the Franciscan Well.

And here are a few impressions from last night:

Drink & Draw, Tuesday, January 18th

The first sketchmeet of 2011 last Thursday night was a fabulous one, thanks to all of you! :)

Next Drink & Draw is on Tuesday, January 18th, 8 pm. Please note, we're inside the Franciscan Well during the winter season and this means we don't have the huge space we used to have in the beer garden. So try and come early and make sure to get a chair!

Drink & Draw, Thursday, January 6th

I hope everybody had a very good Xmas and you're all recovering well from too much food and utter laziness :)

Feel very much invited to the first Drink & Draw in 2011! If you don't have a New Year's pledge yet, then grab your art stuff and improve your drawing skills, meet some artsy folk and get creative.

Thursday, January 6th, 8.00pm in the Franciscan Well.

Feel free to bring inspiring books, comics, portfolios, etc to share with everybody.

Looking forward to seeing you in the new year! :)

FYI, here's the new schedule for the next six months of Drink & Draw:

Drink & Draw, Tuesday, December 21st

This will be our last Sketchmeet in 2010, so forget about busy christmas shopping once and choose a fun night with a creative bunch of people instead! :)

TUESDAY, December 21st, 8pm at the Franciscan Well.

For those who can't come, I wish you a happy holiday season and a brilliant start into the new year!!

A few photos from the last night (I really should think of bringing a better camera). It was a freezing night but so many of ye were showing up! Great evening, thanks! :)

When you get the chance, check out Keith Wright's Sketches, amazing stuff!

Drink & Draw, Thursday, December 9th

Brrr, it's getting cold these days! Last time we got quite a nice spot inside the pub, I think that's going to be the place to sketch for the winter - thanks btw to the staff for always helping out and being awesome =)

Next Drink & Draw is on THURSDAY, December 9th. 8.oo pm at the Franciscan Well.

On a side note, I'd like to show you two articles of the recent issues of Imagine FX Magazine. Yes, Drink & Draw Cork was featured and also is the Galway Pub Scrawl! Have a look and be proud and happy because we all rock! =D
