Drink & Draw at the Franciscan Well

Bring the art supply of your choice and get drawing, painting, doodling, crafting, whatever you have in mind - along with a nice drink and great creative company. Everybody is welcome, no matter if you just picked up a pencil the first time in your life or if you're a passionate artist for years. No skill level required, it's all about the fun.

We will decide on a topic for the night and have a few activities to kindle your creativity but you can also bring something to draw and study or just doodle around as you please.

Drink & Draw / Islander Art Book Launch

This month has three Drink & Draw events!  

Drink & Draw

Islander Art

Saturday, May 17th, starting at 4.00pm

This coming Saturday we are teaming up with the Islander Art comic book launch for more doodling. If you ever missed Drink & Draw on a weekday, this is your chance to visit this Saturday Special sketch-meet in the beer garden of the Franciscan Well.

Islander Art & Drink & Draw Cork have teamed up to launch the Islanders 2nd anthology book; BLACK NIGHT on Saturday 4 pm, May 17th, in the Beer Hall at the back of the Franciscan Well, North Mall, Cork City.

The art book contains illustrative artwork and stories from a large portion of Islander Art collective members including JG O'Donoghue, Eleanor Reilly, Kevin Gough, Mike Nolan, Marian Noone, Alan Corbett, Wayne O'Connor, Sara Otterstatter and Raul Fernandez.

Drink & Draw which usually is on biweekly alternatively on Tues & Thurs in the Franciscan well, will be having a one off special Saturday session at the book launch. So bring the art supply of your choice and get drawing, painting, doodling, crafting, whatever you have in mind!. Everybody is welcome, no matter the level!

If you ever missed Drink & Draw on a weekday, this is your chance to visit as the Islanders combine with the drink & drawers to make a DRINK & DRAW ISLAND for one day only!

PS: There is also the Fest Noz taking place at the Franciscan Well from 7.30pm until midnight, Breton music & food (6,- € entry).

a free and informal workshop about 
Portrait & Life Drawing.

The workshop is from 8.30 - 9.30 pm 
in the upstairs Bar, Franciscan Well,
and followed by the regular 
Drink & Draw evening.
